"If you want an agent that never answers the phone and doesn’t let you know your policy has been canceled or why, Felicia Gilbert is a great office! Didn’t even find out by her calling either, checked the mobile app and the policy wasn’t there, no warning or anything! so that’s fun :) apparently her employees like to ignore the multiple alerts from under writing that the policy will cancel if they don’t get the info they need. Received absolutely zero warning stating his policy is going to cancel if we do not submit the information Underwriting requested. -Also to add; I used to work for State Farm and I am fully aware of the ample amount of time and warnings underwriting sends to the agents office prior to canceling a policy. I really don’t know how they fumbled at least 2-3 times (they send MULTIPLE notices) and just let the policy cancel with out notice. UPDATE: I finally got ahold of someone in the office today after calling 4 times, her name was Sky. She didn’t have a great understanding of the issue because she was a stand in office manager. Anyhow, she let me know she’s been working for statefarm for 15 YEARS. Here was the issue: statefarm said the drivers license was in suspended status and needed a new license number and failed to tell us if we don’t submit it by XX date, the policy will be cancelled. So, I called and spoke with Sky. She said she was going to contact underwriting and try to reinstate the policy. (All she had to do was submit the new drivers license info into their system, not contact underwriting whatsoever) INSTEAD, she chose to attempt to rewrite the entire policy as if he was a new customer altogether (been insured w/ Statefarm since 2016) and it came back as ineligible because they stopped covering all new Kia policies last month. Weird that someone with 15 years experience didn’t know that but I digress. I called corporate and tell them all this info, lo and behold THEY were in the wrong and failed to do their jobs correctly resulting in a lapse in insurance coverage. If my boyfriend hadn’t have had me, he would have just accepted that and had a lapse in insurance coverage which would screw his rates for years substantially. Long story short had we just taken Sky’s word for it that he’s just randomly ineligible even though the Kia has been covered for 4 years and had I not called corporate, he would have a lapse in coverage that all insurance companies see when you apply for coverage, which effects your rates substantially. EDIT#2. The Agent called him off of her personal device that is not recorded, and complained about my google review, and told him he needs to start shopping for other policies because “there is nothing they can do”. I am now on the line with Statefarm corporate yet again, and they tell me the same thing they did yesterday. All the agents office had to do was submit his drivers license in their system. They are refusing to submit the drivers license and reinstate it. So now we are filing a complaint via escalations, and underwriting themselves will be reaching out to him to get his information and submit the reinstatement, since they are refusing to"

"Lillian, As I have spoken with our Insured and advised him we did all that we absolutely could for him. Underwriting reached out to him directly and was unable to establish contact with him and mailed a letter out to advising that. We have all of our records for our efforts to assist our insured documented and time date stamped to show we did try to assist him and contacted him on multiple occasions. He responded to our very first attempt of contact and advised that he was aware of what was needed and would work on obtaining that as soon as possible. As you are not on this policy and as a previous State Farm Employee of another Agent you are made aware that we are given warning and letters are directly mailed to our insured to guarantee his knowledge of the situation and given a fair amount of time to complete what was being asked of him to ensure his insurance not lapse in coverage. I called my insured from my personal device as I was out on Medical Leave and after being made aware of the situation wanted to guarantee contact had been made by me to him to make sure other options were offered as we were past the dead line and he was made aware of that. We wish there was more we could do to assist him, but unfortunately State Farm only allows so much time to complete their requests that were sent to us and copied in the US Postal mail to our insured. I am sure he is grateful for you assistance, but as you are not on the policy and have not been with the office I feel like this judgement is unfair as we have insured him and other people within his household for years and not had any Customer Service issues. We hope he has found insurance and is taken care and all of his insurance needs are met. We thank him for his many years of business and are able to answer any further questions he has at the office. "THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO GO FOR INSURANCE! For one they never answer the phone and when they do they’re rude. She said my insurance policy would be 1110$ for the year and somehow broke that down to a monthly payment of 396$!!!! There are 12 months in a year which would actually make that 92.50! DO NOT GET SCAMMED!! 100/10 do not recommend. Ever."

"Takes too long to respond to email and they said I have towing included when I got my insurance when I need towing they took almost week to respond and said I have no towing included."

"I always held off on calling for quotes cause I didn't want to deal with the hassle of talking and dealing with reps. Now I wish I would have done it earlier. Sky made it so easy. She was polite, had a great attitude, and took her time to explain everything, even if I asked the same thing twice. I was never lost about anything.
